ParticipantYou can say this or say that, but it is a totally messedup system if we pay our public employees more to retire than to work. Doesnt everyone hate the CEO’s who fail golden parashutes? Well those parashutes are voted for by the board which is controlled by the share holders. Enough share holders vote against this kinda stuff and it stops. Well you are a voter here, you are a shareholder in Sd fire. Vote against it. If it isnt good for the private sector, it isnt good for the public one either.
And I would consider the mayor to be CEO of San diego corp. Fire chief in my mind would be more like a VP or department director.

ParticipantSD_R, could you also ask how long the rest lasts? A reset 3 weeks ago most likley was based on April or March interest rates, which are becoming thing of the past very rapidly (longer term notes). If it reset today, I wonder if the result would be the same.

Participant
You guys are so uptight……………….houses for everyone…..it says it is our right in the constitution……..in fact my right to happines demands that I should have two houses……..one in La Jolla overlooking the ocean……….one in Washington to watch the circus.
Two! no way that will secure my happyness. I need one in Del Mar on the beach, One in Aspen, One in Hawaii (not ohau), A penthouse in either downtown Boston or Manhattan(see I am flexable) and a winery in Napa with a view. I also want a nice place in Santa Barbara to be with my family, since family is the most important thing. It is only fair that I get what I want.

B) you know what you are talking about
C) You dont pull punches.I dont know if I am glad or not to hear you are on your best behavior. I always read your posts, even if it is stuff I wish wasnt happening.
