Participant“I’m of the mindset that our country, our democracy and culture, will correct itself in time.”
i think most people feel this way. some people are more angry about things as they are than others, but in general, most people are confident in america.
but, i think that attitude is a double edged nuke. assuming that “things will take care of themselves” or that someone (someone else) will “fix it” are not conducive to things getting fixed…

Participantyou make a great point about knowing your local lawmakers and getting down and dirty with the specific details of politics, but then lump everyone together along with all the issues and blend them up into a bloody mess of issues and viewpoints. what gives?

Participantsome of her live guests seem scripted. her callers are great though and i think that it’s the callers that make watching her show worth a watch (one watch, gets repetitive and tedious); they are generally really stupid. it’s like suburban middle class jerry springer, dumb suburbanites instead of dumb trailer trash. calls like, “i’m broke and have no job but i really want to buy a bmw. what should i do?” or “i want my landlord to catch a mouse but he wont, what should i do?”.
