Participant
Irreducible Complexity is not a new movement in science. It’s a new movement that has nothing to do with science. There’s no science involved.
LOL, Okay. Clearly you have no idea what you’re talking about, so I’m not even going to try to reason with you.
Some day people like you will realize science and God go hand in hand, and are not diamterically opposed as the self-proclaimed brilliant proclaim.

ParticipantSometimes the people on this site surprise me.
I find it odd one of the only bones you have with her is her view on creationism. Our country was founded under God, but nevermind that. There’s actually a new movement in the science world called Irreducible Complexity that discounts evolution as a means of how life came into existence. Google it.
For so many engineers and other intelligent people on here I’m surprised that someone with values incites such anger, and yet someone with personal communist mentors is a warmly welcomed savior.

ParticipantWell, it sure seems to have pissed off the Obamanation fans.
Rip her for no experience, but what has Obama done? At least she led a basketball team, small town, and state.

ParticipantAgreed. I read it and at first the looser standards they talk about sound like they would be even easier to exploit.
Then I got to this part and it hit me:
“Real Estate: companies can revalue certain assets to fair value.”
Notice it didn’t say de-value, but re-value.
Initially you’d think to mark down underperforming RE assets, but what’s to stop companies from hoarding say, foreclosed homes, “revaluing” them at a “fair” value (what determines fair) and booking gains in an asset worth less then the loan against it?
I’m no accountant so I’m probably missing many other benefits but it doesn’t sound like it would prevent much of the debacle we’ve seen.
