CoronitaParticipantWhat I don’t understand is I read the water restrictions and nowhere did it say that car washing must be done only if you can recapture the “gray water”. I guess it’s different for auto detailing businesses..
But even if they recapture the water (which I don’t think is too difficult), I don’t understand what they would do with it.. Does the city expect each individual detailer to be able to own the equipment to recycle the water and reuse it? That technology I don’t think exists for a mobile auto detailer nor is it affordable for a small time auto detailer..

You’re probably referring to the lack of “find” in the tag line. We had a lot of internal debate about leaving it out as we aspire to be a lot more than just a real estate search app.
Have you tried the app out? We’d love to get your feedback on it.
(your comment made us chuckle – thanks!)
Well, I don’t have a smartphone and I don’t really want one so I won’t be testing an app. Secondly, I’m suddenly out of the housing market and tired of looking. Yay.
Also, I understand why you thought of leaving out the “find” but the result is awkward. It doesn’t work for me as a catch-phrase. It makes no sense. I don’t think it is because I’m old. I think a young person would say “huh” as well.
Maybe you should drop a “?” in there. Or roll through a bunch of words – like “find” “love” “buy” “obsess over” “locate” “surf” “view” “visit” “move into” to get the impression that you can do more than just find.
“The smart and fun way to your own house”
just … I don’t get it.
Fypio…
Just so you get a chuckle out of the above in bold… SDDuuuude has spent his life working in cellular networks…
Of course it is always the house painter whose house is always in the most desperate need of paint!
Sorry Duuuude… had to raze you… When you coming to see the new things in my life?
CE
It’s how it goes… After spending almost every day with a smartphone at work, when I go home from work. I really do miss my Motorola Razor… It met an untimely death when it was stuck in my jacket pocket and I accidentally sandwiched it in between two chairs…
I can’t even stick the latest phones in my pockets…..And they get bigger and bigger…
CoronitaParticipant
my honda accord 2012 will never ever be sold. i expect i will drive it until i am dead.
Pretty much.
CoronitaParticipantMy audi has been going pretty well for 14 years.
I recently changed all 4 rotors and pads, when I realized that I never changed the front rotors since I had the car new. Lol….Well, that and the ABS controller went recently. I was contemplating just driving without ABS because a new ABS controller would have been close to $1000. Then I found some guy on ebay that repaired the ABS controller internal wiring for $60…..It worked…Lol
CoronitaParticipant

lol. I think you folks are being trolled by someone pretending to be her….
Probably, but how often do you get to play Judge and jury?
I think we did during the fiscal meltdown wrto to subprime borrowers….
CoronitaParticipantWell for most cars these days, the price is astronomically have for I would say most people who are driving them… So people are either leasing them or taking out a loan on them.
You really think most people driving a BMW 3 series optioned out at $55k are really paying for them with their own money?
most people “acquire” a car based on the payments they can make…
CoronitaParticipantLol…
If we restricted people’s ability to get loans based on a financial fitness test the same way we would try to restrict getting guns with a mental fitness test, …..
…most people probably wouldn’t qualify to get a loan… It would probably be easier for people to get a gun before getting a loan…
CoronitaParticipantlol. I think you folks are being trolled by someone pretending to be her….
CoronitaParticipant

Most people don’t have a few hundred thousand in cash sitting around before they start their small biz. The other sources of cash to start a small biz is either home equity or cashing out their 401k/IRA. So, yeah, I bet it’s pretty common.
401k? really? I must be living under a rock because the only time you withdraw from that is when you get to a state where you are hungry and have nothing to buy food with.
That’s common too, short of borrowing from it…
CoronitaParticipantIt’s more common than you think.
CoronitaParticipantOh, and if you think your boss might object… Then you need to try to preempt that by buying her a nice watch too….
Pitch it as “honey, I love you so much and thought I wanted to spend a little of my hard earned money to buy you something that is nice in your honor…
I got us a matching set, so just like us, the watches wouldn’t ever be lonely alone….besides, the store had a sale… buy one get, one free…”
CoronitaParticipant
I’d rather be remembered for my wit than my watch.
And if you explain the rationale of why you got it, and your wife approves, they will definitely remember you by your wit…
but i do want the watch. watch makes me feel important.
that is pathetic.
Buy now, pay later!! You earned it! You deserve it. And by golly, you’re good enough for it!!!
Sorry. Yes, I know… I’m a bad influence.
CoronitaParticipant
But if I wore it 15 years it’ll probable be worth what I paid for it then and it’ll have been free except for the interest I might be earned on it…
I think you’re looking at this the wrong way.I think the way to look at this, is…..
You want to pass it on to your kids, so they remember you by something.. In the meantime, you’re going to use it to ensure that it becomes a personal item that they can say “was yours”…. Since you have more than one kids, you’ll need to get more than one to make sure your kids don’t fight over the only one you have…
See, a Porsche GT3 is a good example.. If I get a GT3 now, it’s definitely something that I could pass on to my kid 20-30 years from now.. And it might even be a collectors item..
CoronitaParticipantI want
1. A Porsche 911 991 GT3.
2. More rental property…
3. And I want the government to pay for them for me…
