I love your clarification that people are not home owners, only mortgage owners. Are you planning on paying cash for your next home?Here is another example of the "bitter renters" I mentioned in my last topic post.
Trolls Unite!Sigh… Because that's the truth. Most people, INCLUDING ME, who are mortgage holders don't really OWN the home until we PAY IT OFF, even if some of us CAN AFFORD to pay off the home if we wanted to.

CoronitaParticipantJust curious, I did a property tax search on 1308 SILVER HAWK.
Tax records says the assessed value is 850,000, and was 9/1/06 (perhaps it was reassessed down). Also, according to the tax records, this is no home owner exemption on this property (maybe an investement property???)

CoronitaParticipantSDR, yes actually I heard from my realtor several people dont pay prop taxes for 3-4 years intentionally. I didn't understand the logic to that, but i guess some feel they can beat the penalties by sticking the money elsewhere.
