CoronitaParticipantJust leaked before the Geneva autoshow.

Now that's a hybrid. 69mph estimated. One caveat…The electronics will probably fall apart in 4 years just like everything else VW builds.

CoronitaParticipantbummer, I 'm no embedded EE , though having moved back from the bay area to here, I wish i were. There's a lot more opportunity down here with those skillsets than what I have.
I'll ask around. You might want to post on craigslist or linkedin if you haven't alreay. LinkedIn works pretty well for me.

CoronitaParticipantgdcox,
This is consistent with most of newer SD tract homes. So aside from this particular property being next to power lines, the homes in this area are pretty nice imho.
The reason why I'm particularly looking in this area (in addition to MM) is that this is right along the 56 corridor, which makes it a decent location to both sorrento valley and rancho bernado, not to mention the g-norous office complexes being built in Santa Fe summit and at the end of 56east. So, I'm looking for some potential rental here, in the 2000-2300sqft here when/if prices ever come such that it makes sense.
I thought despite being in the interesting location, the huge price would hopefully be a sign of more cuts ahead in this area, though I think the the person that paid 1.2mill was insane for this property. It appears to be REOed by countrywide, go figure.
As far as texas is concerned. Well, yes if you can deal with the texas "thing", no one's arguing it's cheaper there. But again, it's texas (no offense to texans. You either love it or hate it).
