ParticipantHi TG,
I was waiting for some of the Temecula clan to post something about the activity up there…surprised it’s lasted past mid July. Once it’s fall, I really can’t imagine the amount of people looking. I have noticed prices in Temecula are creeping down a bit. A friend who lives in Morgan Hill informed me that recently a 3300 sf home went for 330k, so there’s the $100/sf already…hang tight, there’s plenty of homes up there to go around.cashflow

ParticipantSD R, Renting does suck! Okay so we have parallel ‘renting’ lives. We too have landlords that don’t bother to fix things. We have a fence that blew down completely during the fires, so our dogs have to be watched while out. The landlord has told me time and time again that it’s getting replaced. Every toilet in this place runs. I’m dealing with a landlord that thinks he’s Mr. fix it, but he’s definitely not.
Our lease is up this month, so hoping to go month to month.
I have to say since I’m the ‘wife’ that probably puts more pressure on my hubby that you guys just don’t understand the family nesting thing.
Also, if you stay at home full time, like I do, I’m the one that has to deal with all the problems with this house we’re renting. If it were our home we’d fix them and be done with it…
On the flipside I am stubborn and ‘worked’ too hard for our nest egg to just give up $ by becoming a knife catcher…so I look to you guys to supress my nesting instinct and my ‘want’ to buy a home now. I am being patient and so far that has worked out in our favor.
