ParticipantLove despair.com, and Allan you have me on the online dictionary. Surprised I hadn’t seen or used “Cloying”. Very nice touch.

ParticipantNo they aren’t I was being sarcastic. There are of course bands that are that don’t make a big deal about it, but I doubt Slipknot is one of them. Wild stuff though, definitely different…
I took them to Rush last May, I’m thinking one per year until they can start doing their own. I preferred Rush but Slipknot was cool. Boomer (David Wells) was there. I got these tickets dirt cheap (sign o’ the times?).
Concerts are so expensive, particularly the bands with a more popular following that get out (Eagles/Who/Stones/Police) so we’ll stick to the second tier where you can find a deal.

Participantok that makes sense because the guy seemed to suggest that no it was a slipknot thing. Maybe they didn’t want the liability. I assume for the bands there is very little reward for a lot of risk with drunks out there.
Slipknot was pretty wild and definitely not something my wife needed to take the boys to. I’ll let her handle the off-broadway stuff, but not this.
