Credit crunch is intensifing.

I strongly suspect that local opposition played some role in Walmart’s decision not to go ahead with store in Carlsbad.
When you see something you don’t like, at what point do you stick your head out the window (famous movie quote, “Network” I believe) and say “I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore!”
Kudos to those who stood out an protested in the rain a few months back. You made a difference.
