AIG, the worlds largest insurer is in serious trouble. They scrambling now to raise capital
Merrill and BoA in merger talks.

I was a bit surprised by Paulson’s stand. He had more guts than I expected.
NYtimes says today was “one the most extraordinary days in Wall Street’s history”
After a record year for Wall Street bonus’s last year. We’ll see alot more layoffs in the offing.

Perhaps like a spoiled teenager, Wall Street is now realizing that papa Government may not Bail them out.
Should be an interesting day on Wall street tommorrow, I could see a huge swing either way depending how this turns out today.
