ParticipantBubblesitter: I would also pay close attention to the reinsurance community. The debacle at Channel Re is probably just the opening shot there.
As to the world catching the same cold as the US: How could it not? For all the talk of “decoupling”, the world remains not only closely tied to the US, but reacts to the same positives and negatives that we do.

ParticipantNost: Uh, dude? Your cat appears to be nearly the same size as your dog. That is a normal sized cat, right?
Kidding. Two of our three dogs are Labs, so it is strange to see a dog that small. Not bagging on him, of course. Back when I owned my Rottie, Odin, he routinely got trounced by our neighbor’s Jack Russell, Bo. It was pretty funny to watch, though.

Participantbubble_contagion: Be honest, how many hours did you kill watching The Buggles on MTV when that video (the first one ever!!!) came out?

ParticipantTG: Wow. That’s ugly. You shed $300k in value from spring ’07 to now.
Not to sound snotty, but that’s the top of the line McMillin? It’s definitely big, but it doesn’t really seem all that different from a lot of other builder’s homes and models in the area.
Got any extra money to lay off on the Chargers this weekend? Kidding.
