ParticipantYeah, that’s fraud. The bank should have NEVER GIVEN out a 720k loan on that thing. Good lord. Someone walked away with a ton on the bank’s money. Too bad the banks are too stupid to go after crooked appraisers/agents.

ParticipantHi Marion,
She’s doing well, thanks! Her mother is a Chihuahua and the father is a Jack Russel Pinscher mix. Sounds unusual but I’ve seen 3 or 4 dogs out there just like her.
Sorry to all about this unrelated posting, I should be scorned.

ParticipantNost: Uh, dude? Your cat appears to be nearly the same size as your dog. That is a normal sized cat, right?
Kidding. Two of our three dogs are Labs, so it is strange to see a dog that small. Not bagging on him, of course. Back when I owned my Rottie, Odin, he routinely got trounced by our neighbor’s Jack Russell, Bo. It was pretty funny to watch, though.

Check out the sales history on this one. It sold for 925k and after going the REO route is in escrow from a list or 449,900. Unfortuately that site doesn’t have pictures. The MLS has pictures. It seems like someone was going to remodel the home and never got finished…pretty popular theme too.I look at buildable lots often. There is a lot on Mt. Helix with the foundation about half formed up that is now for sale. People understand that the endgame doesn’t look so good .
With a falling market you have to wait until these abandoned projects are really discounted or risk working for free. I wouldn’t mind overhauling that house on Panorama though, if it were not so unlikely to pencil out or If I didn’t care.

ParticipantHaha Aecetia has quoted from my #1 all time favorite movie! From my favorite actress! Wouldn’t it be great if movies with real dialog and real talent like that were still around?
Ironically Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a play on the phrase “Who’s Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?” which was the theme song for one of the movies which made Disney famous during the great depression.
Even more ironic is that Disney’s film was a HUGE success which set the stage for Disney as we knew it and at the same time happened right at the deepest bottom of the depression. Those of you who believe that entertainment will do well (movies, games, sports, etc) in a crashing economy are, IMO, correct.
EVEN MORE ironic is the answer to the question of who’s afraid of the big, bad wolf: the little piggies!

ParticipantLabs are great, they always have fun chasing my dog around the park (and she has fun too but gets drenched in slobber).
I adopted the cat and dog who were both feral offspring of abandoned pets. They were in really bad shape, malnourished, and had sarcoptic mange but several vets and a few dollars later they turned into healthy pets.

ParticipantYeah, that’s fraud. The bank should have NEVER GIVEN out a 720k loan on that thing. Good lord. Someone walked away with a ton on the bank’s money. Too bad the banks are too stupid to go after crooked appraisers/agents.
