I hate stupidity and jealous neighbors. I’m with spdrun on this. I hope the stupid b**** gets run over by a Mack truck or her son dies of a drug overdose. Joking but it won’t break my heart is that happens.
I was mad with the cop for pulling me over for speeding. I was also mad with the ass who would not let me merge in front of him, thus forcing me to step on the gas pedal. I don’t know much, but I know it can’t be my fault that I got a ticket for driving 80mph in 65mph zone.
allParticipantIt’s like speeding. Everybody does it, some have to pay to feed the beast. You knew the rules, decided to roll the dice and now you don’t want to pay. In Vegas, of all places.
allParticipantI can picture Bill Clinton moving back into the White House. Daddy’s home, b*tches…
allParticipant
The money doesn’t have to be taken in a way that lets the filth in Sacramento or the in$urance companies where every vehicle is at every time. A consumables (fuel) tax works well enough now. A similar tax on another consumable (tires, vehicle batteries, whatever) would work just as well tomorrow.
Out of state trucks (so big business) benefit from tax on tires, or batteries. I would vote for increased tax on gas (and I do not drive EV’s).allParticipantThe roads need to be maintained and the salaries and the pensions need to be paid. Gas tax, use tax, income tax, toll… the money has to come from somewhere.

Interestingly, San Diego is one of the incubators for ‘get rich quick’ industry. Several major players live and operate from SD.
If that is true, I want to know where they are getting RE deals today which are good enough to make money “flipping.”
The money is not made by flipping, but by selling ‘training’ and ‘tools’. Google Rich Jerk, the local celebrity.

allParticipant
Starting tomorrow, the Donald needs to take 24-48 hours off and sleep. He’s been bleary-eyed for several days and lack of sleep is affecting his short and long-term memory and ability to answer questions without getting cranky. He’s hasn’t been near as sharp as he should have been in the last few days.
I wouldn’t want to have to show up in 3-6 cities in one day, pressed and coiffed, whether I was on a “campaign trail” or not. Private jet or no, Trump’s grueling life on the campaign trail is starting to get the better of him about now.
Hillary seems to be doing much better (health-wise) than Trump is right now so she is probably using her “downtime” to sleep instead of paying too much attention what the MSM is currently spouting off about her.
When political candidates have their own team of “social media experts” and “spokespeople” while on the campaign trail (espcially a few days before major primaries take place), they’re not supposed to be doing anything but sleeping, bathing, grooming and showing up in each locale bushy-tailed and bright-eyed enough to be able to walk it and talk it all day. Trump’s usually sharp self has been falling down on the job a bit lately, imho.
Just take another Adderall or two.
allParticipantTrump serves important purpose, kind of like the Occupy and the Tea party movement, or soccer games in the rest of the world. He gives losers (socio-economic, not character reference) a chance to yell for a while, feel important and then go home thinking that they gave it all the had, came close to winning, but alas…
allParticipantA couple of my kids have been playing soccer at the local club for the past few years. I overheard one of them discussing his math MAPS score with his teammates while juggling the ball during warmup.
A friend of mine coaches soccer at one of the Chula Vista clubs – he says he never heard his players talk about test scores. The Chula Vista club regularly beats the local club . If you want your kids to be great soccer players move to Chula Vista.
But there is really not much difference wrt academic and cultural aspirations of parents and children living in the neighborhoods you are contemplating.[Edit]
For us, the ability to walk home from school is significant, if unplanned benefit of living where we do. Both parents have flexible schedules, but with three kids doing all kinds of activities early afternoon can get crazy.allParticipantIt’s a good problem to have, trying to pick between BMW and Audi.
I believe SR is hotter in the summer. As somebody mentioned already the southern half of 4S is greener and it gets some breeze. 4S/Del Sur are closer to your workplace.
MR terms keep you insulated from some of the issues other schools might be facing. You do have to pay for that, unfortunately.
There is exactly 1 SFR in 4S with asking price of <$800K ($799K).

R u kidding!? That’s all I’m saying -> I don’t want to end up with a pillow on my face!
It happened to me few times. Must be worse feeling than waterboarding. Especially if it is a feather pillow.

It used to be that suburban dads would wash cars and do yard work on weekends. Now people don’t even to do that anymore. They just want to pay someone to wash their cars and do their gardening. That will cost them in the long run.
I would rather take my family to the beach, on a bike ride, on a hike, or to the park than wash my car. The kids wash my car once or twice during summer (i.e. spray with water while they are horsing around). Washing cars and gardening is such a waste of time if not done as meditative activity.
allParticipant
Mmm. That’s not exactly the standard.
