ParticipantWhere did you hear that Sillouhette was having a new release? They are only half way through their overall plan. The only thing that is keeping John Laing from worrying is that they are owned by the multi-billion dollar EMAR real estate company.

ParticipantLetting Brees go to keep Philip “I like to throw the ball way too high and to defenders” Rivers was a HUGE mistake. The play calling was horrible. You are down 31-14, force a turn-over with 15 minutes left and do what? Pass on 1st, get sacked, fumble but recover, get sacked on second, and force a pass to LT on third and LT just couldn’t give a shit. Norv is trying to use LT as a second or third option. The play calling is horrible. I knew that letting Donnie Edwards go was going to hurt the D but not this much. They cannot guard anyone in the secondary, but there was some shotting Ref calls. The phantom hit to the head on brady, the bad defensive interference calls were horrible. But this pass on first down was bad calls. Sure LT got stopped on 3 and 1 but later in the game they decided to pass on 3 and 1 and Rivers almost throws another int. WTF? YOU DO NOT LOSE CONFIDENCE IN LT. IF HE MAKES A MISTAKE YOU DON’T STOP GIVING HIM THE BALL!!!!!! You do not I repeat do not stop giving LT the ball no matter how bad the game is. You pretty much play into the hands of the other team. What bad football.

ParticipantHave you ever seen the McMansion story on 60 minutes? You had couples living in 8000 sqft homes and their only regrets were that they didn’t build it larger. The amount of gluttony is unbelievable.
I was looking at some 5000 sqft model homes in Pacific Highland ranch and I overheard this lady with just ONE kid telling the agent that the homes were nice but with one kid now and possibly a second that 5000 sqft wouldn’t be enough and they will need a larger home. I just stood there in disbelief. The poor husband who was a total tool and definitly didn’t wear the pants in the house but was the only earner just stood there and nodded.

ParticipantShhhhhhhhhhh, don’t you see the black helicopters circling overhead?

ParticipantIt’s nothing new. California and NY have always been the most desired places to live but most people don’t due to cost of living. I want to live in St. Tropez but doesn’t mean that I will.

Participantocrenter. Where do people get this kind of money? It is amazing to me how many million dollar homes get sold here.

ParticipantThat is their job. A car salesman will try to sell you a car, a meter maid will give you a ticket, a cop will arrest you for breaking the law and a realtor will try to sell you a house. WTF do you expect the realtor to tell you? Don’t buy, run, the market is crashing? It’s their job to sell or they don’t get paid.

ParticipantI presume you are talking about torrey Hills. Well there are more banks going up so get used to it. Better than having a mcdonalds put in.

ParticipantA laundry room downstairs is ideal. When the kids are sleeping you can still do the laundry and not worry about waking them up.
You complain about no privacy with the lack of bedroom/bathroom door and that the wife will be woken up but then where do you want the closet? If it is in the bedroom then you have to get dressed while your spouse is trying to sleep.

ParticipantThe website says that all models sold but one. Maybe they won’t furnish them now.

Participant6000 SQFT? Holy crap. I’ve always wanted a morning room though. What is sad is that most people that buy homes this large have no kids. Its just two glutton adults that want a lot of indoor space.

ParticipantThanks to those that listed some joints. Some places I never heard of that I will have to try.
