ParticipantHere in O’side the sewer bill is based on your December-March water consumption. I fixed the old rain sensor for the sprinkler system and coincidentally spent several weeks out of town, which cut my water consumption just enough to drop me into the lowest tier for sewer billing. All that effort saved me … about $10 a month.

ParticipantTempting, but the last thing I need is another electronic paperweight/drink tray.
I talked about the closeout with a friend who is (was?) a big WebOS fan. He said he was tempted too, but his closet is too full of vintage Apple Newtons, NeXT cubes, and other such vintage masterpieces of yore.

This time people have more non-union options for groceries … Wal-Mart, Target, and even Whole Foods for some of you. Target doesn’t have the greatest produce section and I hate shopping at Wal-Mart with a passion, but times are rough and money is tight and I’ll probably shift some of my business that way.
