ParticipantPersonally, I enjoy reading partypup’s posts. I find them insightful and thoughtful. I think the variety of opinion on Piggington is definitely one of the best aspects of this forum. The off topic subjects live up to their name. I spent about an hour today reading the pros and cons of using a realtor. Something for everyone. Obviously there are some absolutely outrageous posts that are balanced by the number of posts that not only entertain, but educate. I hope even when the landed poor become the landed well off, the forum continues.

Participantdharmagirl,
No, I live in El Cajon (County). When I hear about walking home from wineries, sometimes I wish I did live in Temecula. Here, we could walk home from the club house at the golf course, but it is not the same and there would be a good chance of someone running over you going to bingo at the casino near by.The bird is both a pet and a pest and we (my son and I) fed her about every hour when we first found her until night when she would sleep for the entire night unlike human babies. So she seems to think we are ugly birds or our hands are the birds and the rest of us is some kind of perch.
Yes, the McBama thread had a lot of interesting opinions. I guess most people in Best Buy want to look at graphics for games and not almanacs for the landed poor. I will have to remember to tell them to find their own porn site next time.

ParticipantEach side puts a different face on the Bogeyman, with the same result, to give the masses something tangible to fear, rather than think about their loss of freedom. It reminds me of the movies in the 50’s where we were being invaded by aliens from outer space. The real fear then was nuclear annihilation, but aliens were preferable to our fellow humans. This is the 2000’s version of space aliens with better graphics.
