lol, scaredy, you are SO right about “living together” and “marriage” being completely different experiences. And I have seen “rent with an option to buy” (RE) actually benefit buyers who timely exercise their (fair) option, but much more often than not, this “contract” heavily favors the seller.

brian, I don’t know who “they” are but most men can easily get sex w/o marriage and many women are “secure” w/o marriage … and vice-versa … lol!

If one marries for “sex” or “security” alone, this is a recipe for disaster, IMO.
