…Pigs in the mud? That’s rich, lol.
Brr, I’m feeling a cold breeze right now.
By the way, my views on religion are far from naive, simplistic and uninformed. I’ve struggled with a lot of things concerning my religion and rejected the denomination I grew up in as well as my father’s old religion: Catholicism.
One thing I do know is I feel sorry for the Atheist. I view him as someone with no hope, He’s just here and after that, nothing. Lights out for good. Bring on the flames.
But, this isn’t a religious discussion.

For instance certain boxed goods, canned goods, snacks, cheese, eggs, milk, and you could also get spinach, broccoli, etc. They had a very limited inventory, and it seemed to work well for them. Many people looked down their nose at them and wouldn’t be caught dead in Aldi’s. However for a lot of basic shopping needs it was a great store.

But of course, that is exactly what keeps the “crammed in row house” residents in their 5 foot back yards happy.
The mayor who conveniently has become a multi millionaire making cozy deals with developers over the years. What a selfless public servant.
It is striking even how few grocery stores there are in Carlsbad. He must send his maid to Oceanside to do his shopping at Bevmo!
I think Walmart was wise, because an “upscale Walmart” truly is an oxymoron if there ever was one.
One last comment on dirty stores, has the person ever been to the Von’s on Tamarack or the Albertsons on Carlsbad Village Drive. Yikes, dirty, cramped and smelly. I guess Bud keeps those around as nostalgia of the beach community Carlsbad started as, and a place for the servants to shop, you know, the dirty poor ones.
