There is way more in that bill and its going to cost everyone. There was way more in kickbacks to those senetors who voted yes – thier states and counties will all get some stupid road fixed or extra in education funds paid for thru our tax money.I was ready willing and able to pay extra so everyone can have healthcare- I am just disgusted that this went down the way it did.
For a measure as contentious as this to go through without compromises (or backroom dealing etc), you’d have to live in a dictator/communist country. So yeah, it’s not the best scenario but that’s how democracy works I guess.

The poor will still get substandard care as they do on Medicaid, the old will find it harder to get prescriptions as pharmacies cut them because they lose money and now the working middle class will receive substandard care. Welcome to Cuba. You Dems totally deserve this, you voted for him. Let’s hear it for Obamacare! The rich will still get the best care, even if they have to use medical tourism to get it. Only you chumps who work for a living are going to feel the pinch.

I do not want to live in a country where social unrest breeds do to increasing numbers of disaffected people, without health care, and without adequate work/pay to put a roof over their head.
In that case sir, I suggest you choose a direction and head in it.
Why, my side won? This country IS moving in the direction I want it to move. I’m quite happy today. You??
