Thoughts on S. Escondido unique property

That was my thought, too.
They did not spend the money upgrading the kitchens or baths. (Older appliances, tile counters, etc.)

It looks nice/clean.

You mention the house config is an issue. Can you explain? It’s hard to tell from pictures on a listing.

The main house is about 3400 sq/ft and, as noted here, there are no (in my opinion)significant upgrades. There is a small separate house off the garage that is just. . .there. For a family like ours (2 kids) it w/b more desireable to have the footage in the house as opposed to separate property. And, it’s not like this property is low priced in an otherwise expensive neighborhood (i.e. Olivenhain). Pretty much all other similar properties are about the same price (or less) and those that are priced higher are (IMHO) pipe dreams. My $.02.

Expect to get intimately familiar with some landscaping company, and to have Mexicans hanging around your property, trimming, mowing, fertilizing, etc. twice a week. If you’re in favor of SB1070, better keep it to yourself.

I don’t think there were any closings above 800k mark in the area since 2007.
