There are legitimate reasons to outsource, especially nowadays. Cost structures, labor relations, service levels, strategic change, etc.
Corporate does not necessarily equate to ‘better’ or ‘more efficient’ though. It’s case by case. In fact, in many documented cases, corporate outsourcing has reduced service levels and increased costs.
It really depends on the details, and this piece is mostly fluff.
Also, let’s definitely stop comparing California and Georgia. California is a great state.
Georgia is a shitty little southern swamp. It’s a sweaty fucking backwater, a racist armpit whose biggest growth industry is competing with India and Bangladesh for $8/hour call center business.

It really minimizes the impact of a good rant if you’re not spelling the words right.
