ParticipantIt’s going to completely depend on the area, of course. Oceanside and other areas are so down that I’m sure there will be a lot of sales this spring. I still don’t think we’ve hit bottom though. I’m thinking once we hit 96-97 prices even in coastal areas is when it will bottom out.

I just don’t think that’s realistic for SD coastal RE (1996/97 prices ),
But that would be nice, I will definitely be buying in coastal SD if that comes to pass.
(I think some pigg’s will buy two or three if it gets to that point)Realistically I think once the economy gets going again the RE prices for coastal SD will flatten and then move close to inflation.
Also once the economy gets going again really hard hit areas like Oceanside or Temecula may see a sizable pop in prices from these levels they are now selling for.
