Can anyone tell me what the DTI is right now for a 20% down, 30 year fixed loan on a $250K SFR?
Just curious what the lenders are now approving. Is the govt still doing these? Thanks

November 20, 2008 at 12:19 PM #307642NotCrankyParticipantPeter. I was on the phone with a loan processor I am working with and she gave this:
37-38% front end and as much as 47-49 back end, Special requirements may apply. I think they are more liberal with the front end with not much back enda nd high fico. This is for what you are asked about.
This is pretty liberal as you know.Higher loans are more strict.

November 20, 2008 at 12:46 PM #307657peterbParticipantRustico- yes, thanks much. That’s exactly what I was looking for. High FICO meaning over 700? Although it doesnt matter much…as you say, this is pretty liberal! Things are starting to add up a little better to me now.
