I don’t know if I’d call them “New Years Resolutions” so much as overall goals, since I have no real attachment to the calendar year as a period of performance, but…
1) Switch to a more interesting program at work
2) Break a certain income target next raise period (I doubt anybody really cares what it is, so I’ll elide it)
3) Climb more often
4) Hike a lot
5) Shoot a lot more often
6) Run at least 10-15 miles a week
7) Start reloading
Have you thought about joining the Army? Back when I was in Rangers, we had a very similar program. Of course, it also involved people shooting back at you, but the rappelling, parachuting and scuba work was an added bonus.
Something to think about.
On a more serious note, I’ve started reloading again myself and I will tell you that acquiring certain components, especially brass, has gotten more difficult and more expensive. I’m not shooting anything out the ordinary, in terms of calibers, and even 9mm and .45ACP have gotten more expensive.

Come in in the 3rd quartile at Valle this january.
Not get burned by the next slope of hope rally, hopium induced madness.
Not completely fill my new larger wine locker.
Reconcile my half Jewishness with my love of pork products, with my hatred of how they are produced.
Found a pyramid scheme.
Find a substitute for coffee, that gets the job done without making me neurotic.
Date tigers soon-to-be-ex *dependent on her becoming his ex and moving to Northpark/Hillcrest.

Ha, I was actually in Air Force ROTC for a year in college. It didn’t take. I decided that not being yelled at for other peoples’ mistakes was worth paying for college myself.I love diving (will be in Belize diving this Xmas), but after doing a tandem jump I decided I already had too many expensive hobbies to add skydiving. Paying around $2K for a jump rig and having to pay for one-way plane trips adds up. I would rather be a spoiled dilettante than do what I love for a living… I suspect the pressure would ruin my fun!
