Obama’s Kenyan relatives claim he was born in Kenya, and that his mother flew home weeks after his birth, and obtained his certificate of live birth in Hawaii.
Ok lets assume he wasnt born in America, his mother is American and therefore he has citizenship from birth.
The whole thing is stupid.
The issue is unfortunately more complicated than that. At the time of Obama’s birth, his mother needed to meet several requirements in addition to her own citizenship. I’m not going to go into it here because it’s been addressed in detail in archived posts. Check them out.
In any event, the only thing that is stupid is the unwillingness of the administration to put this matter to rest by producing the request documentation. It would cost $29.95 plus shipping and handling. I think l we’ve still enough dough on the Treasury to cover that π Who in their right mind would want these stories circulating in civilian and military circles in the current climate?

The site is owned by a couple of left wing weenies, and their embrace of the Certificate of Live Birth canard is a fraud. The state of Hawaii does not accept their own certificates of live birth as proof of Hawaiian citizenship. They are simply available for the asking.

As for the military holding his feet to the fire on this. I don’t expect it to happen. The professional military won’t make this an issue, and no command will be foolish enough to take this issue to court martial.
OTOH, I do expect to see citizens begin to take up the issue. If Obama isn’t legit, neither are his appointees, and their wielding of power is open to question.
I would say snopes is more credible than the tinfoil hat sites you are getting your information from are.
From Hawaii’s own government site (Department of Hawaiian Home Lands), it appears that the State of Hawaii DOES indeed accept and approve Certifications of Live Birth as a method of proving citizenship.
Primary DocumentsBirth certificates (Certificates of Live Birth and Certifications of Live Birth) and Certificates of Hawaiian Birth are the primary documents used to determine native Hawaiian qualification.
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands accepts both Certificates of Live Birth (original birth certificat) and Certifications of Live Birth because they are official government records documenting an individual’s birth…although original birth certificates (Certificates of Live Birth) are preferred for their greater detail, the State Department of Health (DOH) no longer issues Certificates of Live Birth. When a request is made for a copy of a birth certificate, the DOH issues a Certification of Live Birth.
More to the point, MY birth certificate is a “Certification” from a different state, with EXACTLY the same information as Obama’s (and pretty much exactly the same stuff missing). As in Hawaii, the state in question (NY) does not appear to issue long form copies of Birth Certificates anymore, and just generate a short form certification when a sealed copy is requested. It was considered to be sufficient proof of birth and citizenship for me to get my passport a few years back, so it appears the US Government ALSO accepts similar documents as proof of citizenship.

Uh-huh. But I can take your word as objective and un-biased, right? Follow the links, they provide citation for their claims. Both Honolulu newspapers ran birth announcements at the time of his birth. Wait, let me guess, those were faked too, right?
