I’ve been saying/thinking that. Our country used to have something to sell to the world, other than bad loans. We invented and created things that advanced us as a society. We are not in the forefront of anything and haven’t been for a very long time.
We need to advance technology or medicine and give something that the world wants again. This is an opportunity to come up w/other resource besides oil and maybe more research on stem cell. Or whatever else anyone can think of. The path we have been currently on is taking us no where.

However, I don’t think he does and his actions as of late have further deepened my disquiet about this man.
I do hope we return to that period from the mid-1940s through the 1970s when America led the world in a variety of industries.
What’s truly ironic is that California schools in the 1960s were the envy of the world.
