OT: Legal pot. Day one.

I would say about a third of the people in my PhD chemistry program were habitual weed users. Probably a half dozen were “wake and bakers”, people who used marijuana to manage their anxiety or other issues and were more productive people as a result of their use. Others used pot more like a lot of people use alcohol, and there were folks like me who might smoke if offered at a Friday night party, but would never go to work under the influence.

I know for a lot of very intelligent people, weed helps manage some of the negative personality traits that often come from being highly intelligent.

I’m all for pothead paying taxes. We should leagalize the drugs that people will consume regardless.

While I hate to do it, I have been on a war path to get riding drug users in a complex. They are not worth the trouble with the rowdiness and criminal activity.

Best to include a no smoking clause and if the tenants violate it, you have cause to terminate.

what about vaping. technically vaping does not involve combustion and no smoke is produced. it heats the herb up to a,point below combustion but sufficient to release thc in a vapor form.

seems like it’d be silly to evict if the rent is paid tomely.

Yeah, I’m a tyrant. It’s not the drugs. It’s the people who do drugs and their behavior.
People who do drugs hang out with bad people.

There’s this woman who has bad guys visiting her. Huge fights. Cars leaking oil all over.

There are these other guys who loiter around even upstairs or in front of units where they have no business. When caught they claim to be exercising.

Singapore sounds pretty attractive to me. The American low-lives and deplorables are irredeemable, it seems.

Yes the rent is paid timely. But the behavior is unacceptable. They bring their friends who don’t qualify to rent so pretty soon the place becomes a drug den with domestic dysfunction, violence, etc…. more water is used, more wear and tear, filthy front doors, etc… meanwhile I’m trying to gentrify for city professionals.

The problems are always drug related with pot involved. One guy claimed the pot smell is neem oil.

I’m not saying some people don’t smoke pot in peace and quiet.

I’m not saying rich people don’t have the same problems. But at least they don’t affect neighbors with all the drama. None of my business if they keep it hidden.

Maybe meth and crack are involved in domestic violence. But pot also. I smell it. In fact, one woman smokes pot for pain, so she says. She is obese so no wonder. There are always fights and noise coming from her unit. Mostly instigated by the men she invites over.

In the complex there is a single mom Cuban lady who is clean and immediately invited me to enter for homemade coffee. She was not embarrassed about how she keeps her apartment. Those are the people we want.
