Participant
I think that using the word remunerative is simply awesome! I am not being sarcastic either. No way I could have worked that one in ur.
Shocking.
I’m a nerd.And regarding the op’s question:
While I do think his remarks are dumb, I generally think that bans are a weak solution (especially when we don’t have a single list of illegal communication (at least so far as I aware)). Something like slashdot’s ranking and karma system would be far preferable to simply silencing undesirable opinions (annoying though they may be).I think unless he has threatened someone or posted kiddie porn or something similar, let the jackass speak. He has the right to say ignorant stuff.
My 2 bits.

ParticipantLet the poster have his fun.
There is nothing provocative in what he says. I found it to be trivial at best.
Lets see…homeowners have higher incomes then renters… yes… so what… does that matter and do I care? How does that have any bearing at all on the housing decision and my personal decision to buy or sell? Does a renter in Beverly Hills have a higher income then a homeowner in Watts? Hmmm that is a tough one….
Does living in the beach beat living in El Cajon? Do guys that are 6 foot 2 get more hot chicks then pudgy red headed guys who have lisps?
These are all very tough questions and I believe on par with the question of renters or homeowners having higher incomes.
What the poster wanted was to come in and stir you all up and get your panties in a bunch. This is no different then other posters doing the exact same thing or posting about polls and such. Nothing to do but lets go get everyone fired up about something because I am not doing anything important this afternoon.
