OT: FOX News and the oil blowout

Ocean is almost sacred to me too. The economy and life as we all know it is built around oil….like it or not. I’m all for renewable sources. What momementum do we have on itiatives for those? Until we get serious on that, drill baby drill.

The real outrage here should be on our lack of effort to develop alternatives, not on BP. We all talked in good game with $5/gallon gas in 2008. Nothing ever became of it.

Ok, I did my 2nd and final (for lack of really caring) random Fox check and the oil spill (‘Worst Oil Spill Ever’) is next to the top picture story (‘Obama’s Terror Guy Says Jihad’s Legit’). Just for comparison I went to MSN and saw that American Idol, Economy Cars, Sex & the City, & a missing hiker are their top stories (though the oil spill is down in the real news section). So, not really feeling the OP’s point on this one.
