Bugs
ParticipantBugs, I have held back on you for some time now. I’m not sure what your problem is, but perhaps you should find another poster to single out?
“Held back on me”? Do what you gotta do. Say whatever you want to say about me. I have no intention of descending into potty talk with you. It’s contrary to my interests on this forum.
I’m not singling you out. In case you didn’t notice, my last post was addressed to your latest antagonist, not you. If anything it was a rebuke to the people (more than one) who seem to find entertainment value in pushing one or more of your many buttons and then escalating the conflict to the point where the discourse degenerates into discussing dog humping and panty sniffing and sexual frustrations.
How many of our other regulars have chimed in on the various threads you’ve participate on and asked you to tone it down? Compare that with how few posters (as in, none) have encourgaged you to push a little harder.
We just had another thread where some of our regulars were complaining to Rich about the excesses of another poster, and that thread had nothing to do with you. So you’re not being singled out, and although I hesitate to even mention this, you’re especially not being singled out based on your gender, your political affiliations, your race or ethnicity.
I can see legitimate point of view buried in some of your posts; some of them with which I agree and some with which I disagree. But too often they get buried by all the noise with which you package them. I think you’re smart enough to be capable of reducing the signal noise, but so far you’ve shown no willingness to do it.
Different points of view and active and passionate discussion = good; histrionics and excessive hyperbole = bad. That’s all anyone here is saying.
On an intellectual level I’m sure you can agree with that general theme, even if you don’t like it when someone points that argument in your direction.

GuestBugs, with all due respect, it would behoove you to be honest, and not a hypocrit. You’re losing crediblity. You “suggest” to posters on here not to insult and “push my buttons”, but you turn around and insult by saying:
I’m pretty sure nobody here would want to trade lives with Marion, I know I surely wouldn’t.
What’s the deal, bugs? Explain your above vindictive statement since you have presented yourself as someone trying to assist the posters on the board in not rising to insults.
Then you argue I’m “sexually frustrated”. Good luck with that one. If I am, I guess somebody should tell my boyfriend. So far, I haven’t gotten any complaints from him, and he should know.
Bugs, all of the above makes you a hypocrit. Are you comfortable wearing that hat?
