Nostradamus do you have an old girlfriend with an axe to grind? I’ve always felt Marion followed one of the posters here to attempt revenge and decided to dole it out to anyone else that doesn’t kiss her rear for good measure.

You think I’d date someone like marion? Are you kidding? She’s so childish it would be like pedophilia. No, I don’t have an ex with an axe to grind.

I completely understand what you’re saying. You have no idea how many times I’ve written responses to her childish antics only to decide at the last second that it was counterproductive to post them. Dozens, at the least.
Marion is obviously a professional victim and she’s obviously searching for opportunities to claim personal offense and insult. It has become apparent that she’s not going to grow up, she’s not going to learn to be tolerant of diverse opinions, and there are no limitations on how vile she can become in her attempts to one-up the insults.
Rich doesn’t want to micromanage the boards and we don’t seem to have a polling feature that will empower to tribe to vote the anti-social types off the island.
The only option that’s left is to try and lead by example. That means not rolling around in the mud with her about her obvious sexual hangups, not engaging in tit-for-tat exchanges, and in general just leaving her alone to wallow in her own unhappiness and frustrations. We can’t help her because she’s not looking for help. We can’t even accept her because she’s not looking for acceptance.
I went through a divorce 17 years ago (best decision I ever made) and the thing that experience really drove home was the true meaning of the phrase “living well is the best revenge”. I’m pretty sure nobody here would want to trade lives with Marion, I know I surely wouldn’t.
Best just to leave her alone; or when necessary to address her, to do so as you would a petulant teen. Somebody has to be the adult.
