We are getting ready to pass a stimulus plan that gives people a couple hundred bucks so that they can get suckered into going out and “stimulating” the economy by replacing their current DVD collection with a $50.00 bluray DVD because the picture isn’t clear enough? Just say no…..

We are going to give people thousands of dollars in tax incentives to get suckered into buying homes that are still 30 to 45% over valued so they can default on them in 3 years also? Too bad they can’t qualify for the liar loans. Just say no…..

I went to the dentist today and he tried to tell me I needed a teeth whitening kit and clear braces to straighten my lower teeth for $3500.00 and then proceeded to tell me that they have a payment plan available for me at no interest…REALLY? In America? A freakin payment plan? And where has that mentality got us to date? I told him no thanks, I am bringing the yellow look back. Just say no….

Stopped by Let’s Go in La Jolla the other day. Metro Man tried to sell me a pair of $289.00 jeans and a 89.00 T Shirt??? Guess what I said…No, along with some other things :). I went to target and got both for $24.00. Same materials and same amount of materials….just say no…

Got another 3 offers from my credit card companies the other day for a 0% cash advance or balance transfer for the next few months along with their new disclosure about how their rates are going up and if I am not going to use my card they will cancel it….Guess what I told them. I can’t say here but use your imagination. I told them I will shred the card for them because I am not falling for the old song and dance, bullshit american nightmare, ponzi scheme ever again. I had the guy on the phone when I shredded it up…I could hear him laughing…JUST SAY NO!

People, we better sober up, frugal up, and end this bullshit now before it’s too late. It may not be the best solution for the short term but it will be for the long term and our children. Just say NO!
