ParticipantAnother question you missed that I will repeat:
Why can’t you teach your religion’s morals to your kids in church? Isn’t that what church is for? Why must it be done in a public school? If you’re going to be teaching your religious beliefs in school, what’s the point of church?

ParticipantI made some clear and straightforward statements. Not hard to parse. First, nobody’s going to teach Creationism in my kid’s public school SCIENCE class. This is the subtext underlying EVERY political discussion of ID.
Second, secular Americans (US citizens who support separation of church and state apparently) are not responsible for the deaths of 100M people. What a dickhead statement. Go FUCK yourself on that one.
Third, your comment about cities is racist. You clearly have no clue what Meth is doing to rural white communities. Suggesting that societies that aren’t Judeo-Christian are killing machines certifies you as a bigot.
In sum, angry moderates have had enough of “Pastor Bobs” like you. It’s one of the reasons republicans have been getting thrown out of office by voters. You do not speak for the majority of this country.

Participantgandalf: Remember The Dude? Be The Dude. Calmate, amigo, calmate.
Another good role model (IMHO) is Carl the groundskeeper from “Caddyshack”. He had things in the proper perspective.
Breathe in, breathe out. Think of Christmas.
Peace.
