About 120+ people at 9am by my count during the release. Everything sold out, both developments with deep backup/deferred lists.
Fortunately we were high on the list and got our #1 choice.
Large lots, big back yards, wide streets, a great park right there, high quality construction, a fair amount of included upgrades. Monteluz is also nestled back away surrounded by mountains, so you aren’t in a massive sea of homes like the denser parts of 4S – feels a bit remote which is great.
For what we have been looking for/at the last few years – these blew everything out of the water. Absolutely nothing we would change in the floor plan – literally everything we’ve ever wanted.
The price? Still expensive no doubt, but I think the price is very attractive for what you get. I’d hate to guess how much the asking price would have been during the bubble.

Lets hope thats not a bad thing the next time the fires rip through that area. Im sure it will be long after you have moved out but after 2007 and seeing how that area goes so far back, it seems boxed in by the foothills. Remember 4s ranch is fireproof though. Congrats on the purchase regardless. Some great parks over there.
