Is this the same builder?[/quote]Nope… A quick google and check of the CSLB database shows that.
the 4s/crosbies developer is Robert Thorne.
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/may/03/for-homebuilder-its-a-time-for-opportunity/He’s licensed under “California West Homes” and under “California West Construct”.
https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/OnlineServices/CheckLicenseII/PersonnelLicenseList.aspx?SeqNumber=785087&PersName=THORNE%2c+ROBERT+HARRY+JRThe guy you linked appears to be a different guy.
https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/OnlineServices/CheckLicenseII/LicenseDetail.aspx?LicNum=752426Having successfully gone through the CSLB complaint process – it’s not easy to get a license revoked. Not easy at all.

Participantto clarify, the 4S developer is Newland Communities. California West is one of the guest builders.
btw, went back and scanned through most of the purchase prices. generally we are looking at $720k to $780k. remember, CalWest bought these lots for the low $200k, so they did quite well overall with these communities.
btw, these new tracts are overwhelmingly dominated by Chinese buyers, on one street I’m looking at 12/17 are of Mainland Chinese origin.
