    Whoops, my eyes were foggy this morning as was my math. Looks to be about 4X. Still some work to go but here are the best ones.

    Paradise Hills
    Median HH Income $68.6K
    Median Home Price $296.8K

    Spring Valley
    Median HH Income $67.7K
    Median Home Price $294.8K

    Encanto
    Median HH Income $63.9K
    Median Home Price $255K

    Nothing fancy there but its an encouraging sign that affordability is getting relatively close to returning somehwere in SD….anywhere in SD……

    Coastal areas still expensive

    Even if it is like 3 miles to 20 miles from the beach it is still super expensive. Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Encinitas, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Carlsbad cost a fortune for a small SFH still and wonder if these prices will drop at all. Or if stupid rich people will continue to overpay for coastal property like they already do for expensive luxury cars.

    Del Mar & La Jolla have ALWAYS been expensive. You might see a little drop, but nothing major.

    It’s just the way life is. Even in communist USSR in the heights of the cold war, certain property was valued more than others.
