Coastal areas still expensive
Even if it is like 3 miles to 20 miles from the beach it is still super expensive. Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Encinitas, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Carlsbad cost a fortune for a small SFH still and wonder if these prices will drop at all. Or if stupid rich people will continue to overpay for coastal property like they already do for expensive luxury cars.

July 20, 2008 at 9:25 PM #243672PadreBrianParticipantDel Mar & La Jolla have ALWAYS been expensive. You might see a little drop, but nothing major.
It’s just the way life is. Even in communist USSR in the heights of the cold war, certain property was valued more than others.
