I was wondering how many folks saw the cover story on foreclosures in today’s fishwrap? What struck me was that there are a few ZIP codes where the median home price has returned to about 3X’s the median HH income. In my mind, 3X an individual’s household income has always been the benchmark for affordability. Of course there are many more that have far to go but we may not be too far from a bottom in certain areas. I’m kinda shocked that we were able to get there so quickly even in the hood’s.
