GuestTaz: “As a woman, I get very irritated w/other women who claim to be “modern” and independent and self-reliant yet, when it is to their advantage, expect the “old-fashioned” perks of having a man pay for everything…”
Except I didn’t say that I expected him to pay for “everything”. I said “ONE” nice date. Taz, perhaps you should go back and read what I actually wrote before you make any more stupid comments.
“oh, and marion, trust me my comments are not motivated by jealousy or difficulty getting a date…I am in a long term relationship, make over 100K a year and DO NOT judge my friends/relationships by how much they are willing to spend on me…”
These all sound like very impressive things, Taz. Could be, but in your case, I doubt it…Is it wise to brag about being in a long-term relationship when 99% of the male population wouldn’t have you if you begged?? I’d take a long, hard look in the mirror before you start pointing your bony, judgemental fingers at me…
And as far as your comments about me being an attention whore condogrll, it’s better than being a plain old whore.
Just saying…

ParticipantCareful guys, books are dangerous to bachelorhood. I met my wife at a coffee shop she was reading about Guatamala and I was studying “Hable Bien Por Favor!”. She was very accepting of my old Golden Retriever. Hispanophile and perrophile, done deal. O.K., let me get out of the way.
