about to pull the trigger in Coronado…

Anybody have some opinions about Coronado??? Have been looking there for a while… Came in second in a condo right in the heart of downtown, but now have identified another property and am bidding on it. It’s hard to find a decent sized lot with an alley, in a good part of town (west of 5th) but even if it’s got an old house on it, you are really paying for the land.

I want to live there and want to build…. So… I’m taking the plunge. I don’t see decent sized lots going down in price by an appreciable amount in the near future, and i’ve been very very pessimistic about the real estate market in San Diego.

I’ve lived here for twelve years. To me, it still seems grotesquely over-priced, but what do I know. Are you working with someone? I like Mike Napolitano. He’s an honest decent fellow.
