GuestI was one of the 32 people who put an offer in on this place. My offer was accepted at 475K and i was thrilled – I thought the house was worth way more than $420K. We then did a home inspection and found out that the home has a crack in the foundation that goes from the front of the house to the back. You can see the effects on the house when you look for them – there is some space in between planks of wood, there are slight cracks in the wall, and there is a truss in the crawl space that is broken.
Being a first time home buyer i didn’t want to mess with a cracked foundation so we walked away. It’s still probably a good deal if you know what you’re doing with cracked foundations (i don’t).
