    Sorry, I think it is home warranty because I am paying for home insurance.

    Do major systems cover appliances?

    typically the home warranty covers repair first,and then replacement…But considering you already replaced it, I would be surprised that they would reimburse you. You might be out of luck on this one.

    I haven’t replace the dishwasher. You think they will fix it? The current dishwasher is white and very old, probably the orginal since 1994. We need a stainless steel dishwasher.

    They will try to repair it first. They wouldn’t replace it unless the cost of repair is more than a comparable new unit. If it’s working, you’re SOL.

    it doesn’t hurt to ask, and make sure you do it before the home warranty ends. If you’re a day late, they will most likely deny you…There might be some deductible too… I forget…
