The difference would be like talking to your auto insurance company to pay for the cost of replacing all the damaged parts with factory OEM parts at list price/stealership price…And then asking the insurance company to cut you a check for the cost of OEM repair/replacement…..Then taking the check and buying aftermarket/upgraded parts (like a upgraded sports exhaust,etc) at a considerably lower price than what the stealership charges for stock OEM….

ParticipantI would try to see if they will fix and/or replace it. On the oven, the horse is out of the barn on that already. Your agent should have told you to call the home warranty company on any issue you have with the property first. You might have gotten an oven if you had.
