Participanttypically the home warranty covers repair first,and then replacement…But considering you already replaced it, I would be surprised that they would reimburse you. You might be out of luck on this one.

ParticipantI haven’t replace the dishwasher. You think they will fix it? The current dishwasher is white and very old, probably the orginal since 1994. We need a stainless steel dishwasher.

They will try to repair it first. They wouldn’t replace it unless the cost of repair is more than a comparable new unit. If it’s working, you’re SOL.
it doesn’t hurt to ask, and make sure you do it before the home warranty ends. If you’re a day late, they will most likely deny you…There might be some deductible too… I forget…
