Which political party wields total power, paramount? It seems to me that BOTH parties have been bought by corporate/capitalist interests. The police in this incident were defending the “1%” against the “99%” — the party affiliated with the “1%” has historically been the Republican Party…and they are decidedly anti-union and anti-labor.

Note that cops did very little to break up Tea Party rallies (especially after they were co-opted by the right wing republicans), but went all-out at Occupy protests.
