I’m pretty sure this shows the voter apathy. Caucuses have been in place in these states for years and the people know their votes are straw votes. They could show up for a few extra hours if it was important to them. They voted to put this democratic system in place.

An eductated voter would trade his time in for “voting” in the straw poll and go vote in their local caucus.

An educated Politician wouldn’t even focus on attack adds for a straw vote, he would simply ensure his delegates were in place and he had organization on the ground. Keep in mind Ron Paul nor his campaign did any of this. I made the comment about http://www.dailypaul.com to show how the Ron Paul people are organizing and how it is a public showing and not secret and implied nothing else. The #1 conservative blog in the country – Redstate actually Bans anyone saying anything positive about Ron Paul and they have been surpassed by the grassroots efforts.

Perhaps the Ron Paul sites get a lot of traffic because supporters make frequent posts about minor details in an effort to tout “accomplishments.”

Now why would I think that?

By labeling the average primary voter as “apathetic” and “ignorant” of the “real process”, this is just your way of justifying what is really a very undemocratic underhanded way of getting an extreme viewpoint of a fringe minority onto the stage of a major political party.

The Padres now have a .320 win percentage, and thus are still doing better than Ron Paul.

How is this true? These states have been Caucuses for years! Do you know if they teach the kids in those states about the delegate process? Do you know if they talk about it in the newspaper?

I didn’t label the voters at all. The Caucus voters in those states refused to show up and vote for Romney even though they are educated and know how the Caucus works in their state. Can you read their minds as to why they didn’t show up? I know 44% of Republicans surveyed in exit polls weren’t happy with him as the nominee, that’s where I drew my conclusion from. Ron Paul let it be known very early this was his plan. It wasn’t a secret.

Don’t complain about a Caucus process established in another state, move there and vote to change it if it is important instead of compalining about it. I wouldn’t expect Californians to know anyway.

…and since when is following the Constitution fringe? You can’t even name a fringe idea that he presents. It’s kind of just slander in cyberspace. Fringe is what Obama and the Republicans present:

1. Fringe is spending 100% more tax money than we make every year. We’ll be around $2T in deficit this year.

2. Fringe is repealing the constitution without an ammendment and locking up Americans in overseas jails without a trial.

3. Fringe is monitoring everything on the internet and arresting people based on that information without a search warrant.

4. Fringe is allowing the money supply to be controlled by 12 men in a locked room with no accountability.

5. Fringe is being pulled over by the TSA while you drive on a road and being searched with no warrant.
