yes, it’s the same one.

I don’t sympathize with people who build or buy homes on bluffs, unstable ground or any other stupid spot. I am very happy that no one was hurt though.
Sigh, I used to laugh myself silly at the fools who built in Mission Valley. Every freakin’ winter they would cry and cry because it rained and flooded their businesses. These @sshats built their businesses in a riverbed, a RIVERBED of all places! They had no business boo-hooing when nature took it’s course, but no, they kept building and cryin’ about it. So eventually the city rewarded their stupidity and built a flood control project. I guess they laugh at me now.

I’d rather live next door to the canary yellow house than be harrassed by a HOA. The canary yellow house serves as a good landmark when you give your friends directions to your home. HOA boards are usually composed of the neighborhood busybodies who have nothing better to do. My daughter and I were assembling and painting some bedroom furniture in her driveway. This furniture was in her driveway only a few hours and she got a nasty gram from the HOA about it.

I thought most banks allow a 7 day grace period when your CD matures. Mine auto rolls but I have a 7 day grace period where I can either pull my money or negociate the terms.
WickedheartParticipantI just rolled a CD over on the 18th at California Coast for 5.30. You can usually get a better deal from your bank than what’s being offered if you come armed with a list of CD rates from BankRate.
WickedheartParticipantFor someone who could care less you’re getting awful riled up about it.
WickedheartParticipantHey Bugs
I live right up the hill from Mission Valley. You are dead wrong on the bum factor. Mission Valley is bum paradise. There are at least as many bums as downtown maybe more. They live in the river bed and in the brush all alongside Mission Center Road past Hazard Center. Some of the bums even hang out at the Starbucks by Ralphs.
WickedheartParticipantThe realtor who’s going door to door and passing out his calendar each month is the one who’s doing most of the selling here in Serra Mesa. If I had a house to sell I’d hire him in a heartbeat.
WickedheartParticipantWhatever. A nice house in hell is no bargain at all.
