Participant

I am enraged that this took place.
Why get enraged and read things that aren’t there into the events.
The school administrator were simply trying to manage that one single event so that students don’t incite each other into fights.
I don’t see what the big deal is.
You have a point: I probably shouldn’t let this get to me so much.
As an immigrant, I am well aware of the desire to be proud of one’s cultural origins. The big deal is the notion that someone places that pride above their national loyalties. Celebrate your culture all you want, just don’t lose sight of the fact that you are privileged to do so because you are in the USAwesome.
LOL. USAwesome…I sound like such a Teabagger.

ParticipantI bought a 40G Intel for my Dell D830 last month and I LOVE IT. Currently, I’m running Win7 Ultimate. I chose to pay a little more for name brand; other SSD manufacturers have larger drives for less. I don’t mind, I’m only using 20G.
+ It takes 20 seconds from the time I press the power on button, till I enter my password!
+ All applications generally start faster, other than that I can’t really feel the difference
+ Battery life has increased ~20%
+ as noted previously, it’s incredibly convenient to toss around the laptop and not have to worry about damaging a sector on a spinning platter
– It’s only a 40G HD, so I have all my data on a separate machine. This works out well for me b/c this laptop is used for internet/coffee shop computing
