Esmith, this is great data. I also really appreciate your earlier graph showing the overlay between your implementation and the official case-shiller data. I’m a scientist, so I appreciate a nice graph, and confirmatory comparisons. This is really helpful!
Now, if your yellow line would just keep dropping….

WaitingToExhaleParticipant…I don’t see any problem with people of any means looking at MM. Other people choose CV due to schools etc. but some might also argue (and someone did) that MMHS is actually ranked very high.
Is anyone else a bit unnerved by the sex offender map of Mira Mesa? Actually, that’s a good question for you realtor types out there: does that map affect housing values at all? We have migrated to looking at Penasquitos as a compromise between a decent, hard-working class neighborhood and a crazy, no- back-yard super-polished “community” like 4S ranch. To some extent that is due to me being skittish after seeing the offender web site (having a young daughter in the house).

December 17, 2007 at 7:51 AM in reply to: OT: san diegan locals. Where’s a good place to go look at holiday lights? #118861WaitingToExhaleParticipantIF you’re close to Rancho Penasquitos, try Oviedo Street off of Black Mountain north of the 56. Unofficially, it’s “Christmas Card Lane,” where many houses have wooden cut-outs with various themes. While the original concept may have been to remain simple, there are also a lots of lights, and one house even had carolers out front last night.
I can only imagine how annoying it would get if one actually lived there, but we take our children through there every year. It’s wonderful.

It’s a short sale… I wonder if they should count, since the lender might not approve it.
