ParticipantOur neighborhood is pretty cool. Glendon Circle in Santee. Lots of plywood cutout Christmas displays (many cartoon and themed displays), kettle corn, and hot chocolate for sale. It was pretty nuts this weekend, but traffic isn’t too bad on weeknights.

ParticipantIF you’re close to Rancho Penasquitos, try Oviedo Street off of Black Mountain north of the 56. Unofficially, it’s “Christmas Card Lane,” where many houses have wooden cut-outs with various themes. While the original concept may have been to remain simple, there are also a lots of lights, and one house even had carolers out front last night.
I can only imagine how annoying it would get if one actually lived there, but we take our children through there every year. It’s wonderful.
